About Me

Who Am I?

Emma Fischer, L'Étranger, Dorian Gray, The Myth of Sisyphus, Dance Dance Dance, A Wild Sheep Case, Tropic of Capricorn

The person

My goal in my writing is to help people understand their emotions well enough to move through them. That means writing about trauma, empathy, human rights, and the quiet ways people rebuild. It also means caring about accuracy, voice, and the kind of storytelling that doesn’t flatten complexity.

My biggest strength is my passion. My greatest weakness is my anxiety. I’ve found they tend to arrive together. But you know what? If you don’t feel anxious in today’s world, then it’s likely you’re not paying attention. My job is to do that: be a witness. Unfortunately for me, I’m interested in too many forms of writing. (Novel, short story, poetry, essays, blogs.) This website is mostly dedicated to blog writing.

For narrative essays and personal writing, you can find me on Substack.

The professional

I’m a senior content strategist, product marketer, and writer with over a decade of experience across SaaS, media, entertainment, publishing, healthcare, and construction. I’ve led editorial operations, co-built podcasts from scratch, written content that ranks in both traditional and AI-driven search, and helped enterprise organizations find the words for what they do and why it matters.

I’ve split my time between the United States and Germany, hold a BA in English Creative Writing, and work in English (native) and German (C1). Find my professional profile on LinkedIn. I’m most passionate about crafting company narratives and connecting with audiences.

I FOUND THAT WHAT I HAD DESIRED ALL MY LIFE WAS NOT TO LIVE — IF WHAT OTHERS ARE DOING IS CALLED LIVING — BUT TO EXPRESS MYSELF.
