While writing is my passion, it doesn’t embody the full scope of my career. I’ve also produced and appeared in videos, hosted and written for podcasts, and run newsletters that people actually open. Whether the format is a 40-episode podcast built on zero budget, a bi-weekly newsletter hitting 38% open rates, or on-camera content, I work across the full spectrum of what modern content creation demands. Below you can find some of my favorite career highlights.
PODCAST WORK
As lead writer and producer of the Aspire to Inspire Podcast, I co-built a 40-episode podcast with a two-person team and no budget. I owned everything from guest outreach and initial calls through to episode writing, editing, and follow-up, while my amazing co-lead handled the technical aspects of production.
The guests I booked included former FBI agent Joe Navarro, Think Faster, Talk Smarter author Matt Abrahams, former Obama speechwriter Terry Szuplat, Pret a Manger CEO Pano Christou, and Retired General Stanley McChrystal. I also wrote guest episodes for You’ve Got Comms, Staffbase’s podcast for internal communications professionals. Additionally, I hosted across both podcasts.
EXTERNAL NEWSLETTERS
I wrote You’ve Got Comms, Staffbase’s biweekly newsletter for internal communications professionals, from issue 74 in June 2024 through issue 112 in December 2024, achieving an average open rate of 38.14% in 2025. I focused on a warm tone, curated insights, and a layout people could easily scan to make my newsletter sound like a note from a smart colleague rather than a corporate roundup. SOCIAL MEDIA
Alongside written content, I’ve created and managed social media content across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and Reddit, producing assets primarily in StreamYard and Canva. From short-form video to designed graphics and community-facing posts, the work spanned platform-native formats built to drive engagement where the audience already lives.
